Theres 2 reasons. One is the ingredients and the second is the process its mixed. It's made up of 80% solid fats (shea butter, aloe butter) and 20% liquid fats (castor oil and olive oil) and how its mixed is its whipped which puts air bubbles in it, then poured into dinghy molds which then locks in the air.
